Wondering why you might be facing mouse issue with GTA Vice City on Windows 10? The answer is simple. The game’s original codes for registering input may not be fully compatible with the way Windows 10 operates. The ultimate fix for this issue involves putting a .dll file in GTA Vice City’s directory.
I'm on Windows 10 and when I try to play GTA Vice City, the mouse is not working. I tried pressing escape to pause the game and resuming the game, but still nothing! Alt-tabbing too makes little difference. Setting compatibility mode to Windows 98/Windows Me crashes the game instantly and minimizes the icons on the desktop to the small size.
Click Apply, then hit Okay. Start your game, then go to Options, then Display Settings. Hover over Screen Resolution, and change it to your display resolution. Afterward, go back to the gta3 executable, Properties, then Compatibility. Uncheck Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution, hit apply, then okay, and start your game.
