The ktm is an enduro, for verry technical trailriding, more competition minded. More hardcore. The tenere is a touring bike with quite good performance off-road if you have the right tires. (I will post a few pics later of a trip I made today in muddy conditions with a friend). The tenere is also crash proof. I like the ktm enduro 690 a lot but it doesn’t seem like the best for moto camping. I’m strongly considering the klr 650 but part of me thinks it’s better to just save up for the Tenere 700 or the KTM adventure 790.The 690/701 is the next best thing to an Enduro that will haul ass on pavement.
