Cloud saves were working fine for me until they weren't, I had been playing back and forth on my pc and steam deck with no problems until today, seems cloud sync is no longer working for me. Very dissapointing. Edit: It now seems to be working again. I went in on the Jedi Fallen Order sale on the back of this post and it worked like a charm. I had some initial trouble linking my EA account to my steam account, as I hadn’t logged into my EA account in years (since Mass Effect 3 was new I think), so my account was disabled. A password reset via the standard EA login seemed to get things going.
Copying my comment from another thread for Jedi Fallen Order, as I got it working with a pretty stupid solution. Bought Fallen Order today. Logged into EA with my Steam Account on my laptop. When I got the same grey screen as everybody else, I actually managed to click a button for logging in with Steam.
Make sure you have a backup of your save. Just in case. This happened to me once. I started it in desktop mode and it booted up fine. Think it sometimes gets hung up on the ea launcher in deck mode. Next time I tried it in deck mode it worked. u/Johnny_fives_alive, you can click here to search for your question. 6 days ago · Welcome to Part 2 of us testing every Star Wars game on Steam on the Steam Deck! Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is completely playable right now. Its on sale and listed as unplayable for some odd reason. Took a minute to launch, but is completely stable locked 40fps at high settings across the board. Has always been playable. But became unplayable when EA switched out their Origin Lite launcher for their new launcher. If you've played more than 2 hrs you can't refund. If a game is making you angry you got issues. Try lowering the diffuculty. #5. GobboKirk Nov 16, 2019 @ 7:10am. Originally posted by darkstar: Nope, doesn't refund if you're played more then two hours.

Jedi Fallen Order. Bought on sale and running plug and play. Wow! It has amazing graphics. A few minor lags but wow! It is a great game. Using moonlight to play through, survivor, now. Yeah it played pretty well. I completed it entirely on my deck, even though I also had it on my Xbox Series X 😂.
2nd thing: if you want to modify controller config, I advise you to open SC configuration window BEFORE you launch the game. If you try this in Steam overlay (or after alt-tab), it won't work. Again - yeah, I know. It isn't supposed to work that way, but in this particular case it does.
This worked for me: go to the ea help website and log out if you aren't already, then try to log in and when you get to the "Sign into your EA Account" screen, choose to log in with Steam, it's at the top of the page with all of the other logos.
i have this same issue and tried this same thing, the game said "download origin" Nice job ea . EDIT: tried the family share thing and it didnt work. when launching the game, origin seems to reload, and then it says im in game, but steam says the game needs to be launched and nothing loads
Try opening in desktop mode and logging in, or using a different proton. 2. MPC100693 • 9 mo. ago. 'Playable' - Yes. A good experience once in game, after you've tweaked the settings down and limited FPS to 30. The problem is still the EA Launcher I tend to get past it once (link you're EA account to steam before playing) after a short
