I was a bit disappointed that HL:A is VR only. But then I remembered the VR setup I saw at the National Geographic Museum in DC last year. It was a VR tour of the Holy Sepulcre in Israel. the index has zero battery life though and costs over 3 times more even if you bought a elite strap for the quest 2. And correct me if I'm wrong here. but Valve has killed support for every hardware they worked on either in house or with partners. steam link, steam controller, steam machines, HTC VIVE partnership IIRC.
